Subyek: PANSER ANOA 6 X 6 SEBAGAI PLATFORM GROUND AND AIR DEFENCE SYSTEM. Sat May 15, 2010 7:57 am
The APS-3 differed from its predecessors which had been based on commercial truck platforms. Instead, the "Anoa" used a monocoque hull design consisting of armor steel. A new torsion bar suspension system was also developed for the Panser. Currently, the engine and transmission are imported from Renault. Indigenous options are being developed as replacements. The driver sits on the right of the vehicle while the vehicle commander sits on the left.

LAV-AD Light Armoured Vehicle Air Defense. The Light Armored Vehicle - Air Defence (LAV-AD) is a hybrid gun/missile air defence system, manufactured by General Dynamics Armaments Systems of Burlington, Vermont, USA. It combines a high rate of fire Gatling gun and the short range, infrared Stinger fire-and-forget missile system. LAV-AD is in service with the United States Marine Corps (USMC). The last of 17 systems was delivered in January 1999. The mission of the USMC LAV-AD is to provide air defence for the Light Armored Vehicle Battalion, with a secondary role to defend against ground threats.
The system consists of the Blazer air defence turret, developed by General Dynamics Armaments Systems and Thales Air Defense (formerly Thomson-CSF Airsys) of Bagneaux, France, installed on a modified LAV-25 vehicle, manufactured by the Diesel Division of General Motors of Canada. The LAV-AD 8 x 8 wheeled vehicle has all-terrain and amphibious mobility.
In late September 2005, the MND announced a $750M project for 30 MMEVs. Prime contractor for the first, $100M phase of the project was to be Oerlikon Contraves Canada. The Canadian Forces worked with Defence Research and Development Canada and Canadian industry through the Technology Demonstration Program to develop fire control systems and ergonomics that would directly contribute to the development of the MMEV. Oerlikon Contraves Canada was selected for the MMEV project since it owns the intellectual property rights to the ADATS technology, the cornerstone of the new MMEV system.
The MMEV was designed to engage fixed wing aircraft and helicopters at low to medium altitudes (20+ km), and land-based targets at up to 8 km. The MMEV was designed with a full ISTAR platform, enabling to communicated with NATO and Tri-Services of the Canadian Forces[2]. [edit] Equipment
The MMEV was to integrate the latest technology, such the Oerlikon Contraves search-and-acquisition X-Tar 3D radar providing a very high detection probability, covering a range of 45 kilometres [3][4][5]. A resistance to electronic and electro-optical systems built by Oerlikon / rheinmetall.
